Decidim Modules/Plugins: Dev, Plans, Newletter Agenda, & Participatory Documents

Profiel: Officiële blogpost Officiële blogpost

1. Dev

This module is a foundational tool for developers working within Decidim. It enables local development, testing, and customization of Decidim's components. It includes testing utilities and resources to support module testing, and it can even generate dummy applications for a secure sandbox environment. We should leverage this when creating/testing any custom modules.

2.Newsletter Agenda

This module provides a specialized newsletter template focused on events and agendas. It was specifically developed for the newsletter of the Canòdrom, Ateneu d'Innovació Digital i Democràtica. However, we could use this as our own template after some configuring. It could be especially useful for deadlines and the NOVA VASEN Luncheon.

3. Decidim Participatory Documents

This module allows administrators to upload PDF documents and designate interactive areas where members can add suggestions or comments. This feature encourages members to collaborate on documents. It could be used if we uploaded our business plan or anything else if we wanted to promote discussion. These interactive areas are created through the use of polygons.

4. Plans

This module was designed for collective project planning. It accomplishes this through allowing users to collaboratively create detailed project proposals that can eventually transition into budget-focused initiatives. Essentially, the intention of the plan module is to have a proposal seamlessly transition from simply a proposal to an actual budgeting process. This module even supports multilingual inputs.
