There are now three cleaning worker cooperatives in the broader DMV:

We could use our December 15 VASEN dinner to bring the members of these three co-ops together to get to know each other and begin a conversation about how they could apply principle 6 to build their collective power.
I have confirmed that we can use the meeting space at Tenants and Workers United. This space is well suited for a dinner aimed at bringing Latina owned businesses into collaboration, since its location in Arlandria / Chirilagua is in the heart of vibrant Latino community.
Lastly, this focus could potentially provide an opportunity for SECOSOL and Beloved Community Incubator to begin working together again for the first time since the pandemic.
