Decidim Modules/Plugins: Action Delegator & Budgeting Pipeline

Action Delegator (Discontinued):

Provides extended functionalities for cooperatives. Combines a CSV-like verification method with impersonation capabilities that allow users to delegate some actions to others.

• Allows for weighted-vote results and/or vote-delegation.

• Admin can set limits to the number of delegation per users

• Designed to work with the Consultations module.

• Adds two extra columns: Membership type and Membership weight

• Votes and revocations done on behalf of other members are tracked through the versions table

Budgeting Pipeline:

Improves the budgeting component's voting feature by providing a budgeting pipeline which guides the user through the budgeting process.

• Focuses the user's attention to simplify the process

The first could be useful as we are a cooperative and it could be used to help guarantee that no one interferes in important decisions. Moreover, we could have weighted votes. Unfortunately, the Consultations Module was completely discontinued (in the most recent versions of Decidim). However, it serves as a potential module we could try recreating ourselves or at the very least looking into more (not entirely sure if weighted voting exists in Decidim). The second could be useful for the NOVA VASEN Dinner process as we want to ensure that everyone involved can take part in the process.
